Save on your domestic shipments with Shippo

Throughout the United States, we have the preference of customers who send us their parcels to be transported to the final destination in Venezuela. For all of them, we have a new proposal that will optimize costs in their shipments to our warehouse with the main carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS). 

In this article, we explain how to save money on your shipping rates within the United States through Shippo, a shipping platform -mostly oriented to e-commerce- that you can use to send us your packages to Miami (with final destination Venezuela) or for any other domestic shipment you need to make.

How does Shippo work?

If you are shipping from anywhere in the United States, you can create a label within the Shippo app to ship your boxes with the carriers mentioned above. Shippo has preferential rates up to 62% below the rates you’ll find on websites or at shipping stores.

How much money can I save by shipping through Shippo?

By creating the label within the platform you will already be enjoying a reduced rate.

Discounts may vary depending on the type of shipment, the carrier and the characteristics, dimensions and weight of the packages.

Here is an example:

For a shipment of one box (12x12x12 inches and 30 pounds) from New Jersey to Miami with UPS Ground, the rate to cancel would be $59.83.

With Shippo, the shipping rate payable with the above features would be $30.26.

In this example shipment, the savings would be $29.57 (the discount varies according to the origin, the carrier and the characteristics of the packages to be shipped).

Does Shippo have any additional cost?

Shippo has different free and paid plans depending on your shipping needs, however all discounts are available on the free plan.

If you require automation and integration features for online stores, you may want to opt for premium plans as they offer great benefits for your commercial shipments originating in the United States, but it is totally optional.

What steps do I need to follow to start shipping at a discount?

To ship with Shippo, you need to follow the steps below:

1. Create your Shippo account (click here to register).
2. Click on create label and fill in all the shipping details.
3. Click on create label and fill in all the shipment data.
4. Fill in all the information of your shipment and select the shipping method according to your preference of carrier, time and cost.
5. Verify the data and click on “purchase” to confirm the purchase of your label (the amount will be charged to the payment method associated with your account).
6. Deliver the package with the label to the selected carrier.
